Hello. I am new here at allthingsplants. I have lurked around for a while and am comfortable with this community. This is great!

Now, I have a question. I would like to know the species of this little tree. Is it worth keeping? Thanks for your help.

Hi Edwin Welcome!

I could be wrong, but that tree looks like a walnut to me.

Thank you very much! This does not seem like a wise plant to grow near a septic system.

I agree

Although it looks to be a pretty decent sized tree. Too bad it's near the septic.

Thanks and hello all. She is an American Alpine-Saanan mix, and has a wonderful, calm and friendly temperament.
