when you raise, and trim your plant do you cut off those little stringy roots or leave them on.

You can do either.I usually trim the very tiny ones and trim the larger ,one at a time, later so it doesn't shock the plant.

I judge which ones I like, and chop the rest.

How often do you raise the plants once a year or every 6 months I raised a bunch in the spring and now they look like I could do it again I am getting ready to move them all to the hot house for the winter so I don't think I should mess with them right now. What do you think?

Haha, a monk named Anucha who has been 'in' Adeniums for a long time said where he worked, he was repotting the nursery's plants, to train the roots, every four months!!!

Ok well I must have missed one because I noticed roots sticking out from the hole in the bottom of a clay pot with one of my DR's in it and I had to break the pot to get it out it was wedged into the pot so tight. it had huge roots and one small rot spot on one root so its a good thing I found it. I have it sitting out unpotted untill the cut spot heals. Maybe I should raise them more often. But then again I might have missed that one when I did the rest of them.
