Two years ago I put in an Iris section in my garden. I bought a box lot from the Daylily Auction. One of the varieties was called Ooh's and Aah's. I have looked for it on AIS but cant find it. I also had a customer call from Missouri who wanted it because hers had died. She told me she bought it locally and when hers died she went back to the grower to buy another but he had sold out of it. I dont sell my Iris until they have bloomed so that I'm sure they are what they were marked but since I cant find any info or photo's on this one I dont know what I'm looking for. If someone has any info or a photo of this Iris it would truely be appreciated,Thanks Paula

Hi Paula,

Are you certain of the spelling of your iris? There's no iris registered under the name Ooh's And Aah's, but Allan Ensminger did introduce a broken colored TB under the name Oos And Ahs in 1977. Here is a picture of it:

I knew that I'd heard the name before, but in trying to check on it I used the same spelling that Paula did -- so I found nothing. Glad you sorted out the mystery, Kent!

Thank You so much!! The name that was written on the Iris fan when I got it was the way I had spelled it. No wonder I couldn't find any info on it. The lady that called and wanted it said the flower was pale lavender with broken color, so my mystery flower is solved.Hooray!! Thumbs up Thumbs up Thumbs up
