After seeing this photo I had to look it up. The American Begonia Society says it needs 70% humidity and is a good candidate for terrariums. The flower and foliage are just amazing Larry. Do you have any tips on culture of this one?

This begonia seems to be very sensitive to lower humidity. It did fine on our porch during the summer. I brought it indoors in the fall and located it in our tropical garden on the second floor of our home. Light there comes from a bank of grow lights. The humidity is pretty steady at about 60%. At first the begonia looked like it was thriving, but eventually it began to decline. By spring it was gone. I don't know if light intensity was a factor or not. I suspect I could have grown it successfully in a terrarium, but I wanted to see how it would do in the tropical garden. If you decide to try your hand at growing it, I'd love to know how it does for you and the conditions you provided for it.

Larry, your indoor garden is as amazing as that outdoors. What a great winter oasis. As to bipinnatifida, I'm sure it's well beyond me at present but I would certainly like to attempt it in the future.

Thanks, Evan. My wife and I will most likely be carrying plants into the indoor garden sometime this week. Heavy frost is predicted for the weekend. If you ever travel to the Midwest, you have a standing invitation to come visit our gardens.

Thanks Larry, that's very kind of you. If I'm going to be out your way I'll be sure to contact you. I've starting moving and lifting the tender perennials here as well.
