OK, I know that 90% of everyone here is already received their roses, but due to my cold temps here, I have to be patient and just oogle everyone's roses when y'all post 'em. But this is what I'm getting this year from who:

White Licorice http://www.helpmefind.com/gard...
Rhapsody in Blue (2 of these) http://www.helpmefind.com/gard... (I already have this rose.. it's beautiful)

Burlington Roses: (coming in April 8th-ish)
Vista (miniature, already have) http://www.helpmefind.com/rose...
Sweet Arlene (miniature, already have) http://www.helpmefind.com/gard... (AWESOME lavender rose.. love this one)

English Perfume http://www.helpmefind.com/rose... (Zuzu's fault)
Cajun Moon http://www.helpmefind.com/rose...
Natasha Monet http://www.helpmefind.com/rose... (accidentally killed this one, too)
Silver Shadows http://www.helpmefind.com/rose...
Solitude http://www.helpmefind.com/rose... (I just hope mine's half as beautiful as this one)
Buxom Beauty (a.k.a. Parole) http://www.helpmefind.com/rose...
Brilliant Veranda (a.k.a. Brilliant Flower Circus) http://www.helpmefind.com/gard...
Veldfire http://www.helpmefind.com/rose... (accidentally killed this one from Pickering this year)

Star of the Nile x2 http://www.rdrop.com/~paul/mod... (thanks Alan!)
New Year http://www.helpmefind.com/rose... (mine passed away.. sad little "bodybag" rose that didn't make the winter)

Steve - Just Joey, Medallion, Mardi Gras, Showbiz, Gold Medal, Sunsprite, Olympiad.. all of these I saw at Home Depot for the $10/2gal bucket. Does Rogue Valley have really super roses that it's worth the extra price? I wish my South Africa had made it.. I doubt that mine survived (came in super dry). Paradise Found is a VERY nice rose, as is Firefighter. Hansa - make sure that you keep that one under control.. it grows like a weed here! Smiling

Toni, just have to tell you that CAFE OLE is Ralph Moore's brown sport of my WINTER MAGIC. And the flowers often revert to WINTER MAGIC flowers in warmer weather -- so you'll be getting a "twofer" there! And I do hope you enjoy it!

Your Home Depot is far superior to ours. All we are ever offered is Knockout and an occasional Hybrid Tea.

Betty - Well, I love Winter Magic (got that last year from Burling and it's gorgeous!), so I don't mind it too much if it reverts. How hot is "warmer weather" to you? To me, that'd be in the 90s w/no humidity (we don't have humidity here). But the altitude is what kills everything.

PPal - (where / HOW on earth did you come up w/your name? Seriously!) If there's ever a rose that is "common", post it and I'll keep my eyeballs open for it. We will start getting our roses in pots in about 2 weeks or so. Usually around the 15th of April or something. What I can do is buy it & ship it to ya, either potted (not advised) or bareroot (cheaper w/shipping). Don't mind doing that at all.. I shipped Zuzu a rose last year that she'd been looking for locally & couldn't find. This is one of the hauls I got last year from Home Depot.

Gloria you and I must have similar Home Depots !

What a generous offer, Toni! I'm not looking for anything at the moment; I need to save room for Melva's roses when they're ready.

Oh, yes, and I like pigs.

Toni -That is quite a haul. I just need to get out more. And I need a car better suited to hauling roses. Our Home Depot is across town and I just don't hang out there much. I'm sure some of the roses I've ordered from RVR could be bought at HD. And two gallon potted roses for $10 would be a great deal! I suppose sometimes I buy from Vintage Gardens or RVR simply to support their work to preserve good old varieties.

Time to move, I suppose. Seems to me one or more of us here has used a yard too full of roses as a reason to relocate. Big Grin
