Hi, I am a lurker and am enjoying the chat and pix here.
Someone gifted me 3 plants that I will pix when daylight comes and hopefully get an ID.
I have already had great advise from Tarev on my kalanchoe Flapjack.
I dont expect to aquire a large collection,all plants of this type have to be brought in for the winter and its a daunting job for me.

Actually Jo Ann, sempervivum do great outside in the winter - especially if they get snow cover. I live in zone 4 and have hundreds of them outside all year. Most are in the ground but many are in hypertufa pots too.

Looking forward to seeing pictures of yours. I know you don't expect to start collecting them, but don't be surprised if you change your mind!

#1 fleshy grey matt leaves

#2 tiny bright yellow green starlet type leaves

#3 when I got this the floweretts were more compact and deep red.That was June.

Hi Jo Ann. Those are beautiful. You will definitely need to bring them in before frost, they are what we call 'tender succulents', and can't survive cold temperatures in your growing zone.
The third photo is one of the Aeonium.
I am lost on what the other two are. Sure would like to know what the second photo is. : )

I would love to help you if I can also! I had so many questions about this one plant someone gave me, but everybody on ATP were so helpful on the ID forum and we have nearly cracked it now!

Could we get closeups of #2 and from different angles (sideways of a stem)

The other two look like sedums of some kind.

I have #2 in a succulent pot but don't remember the name!

No. It is not. I will find out the name on Thursday when I go by Timberline Gardens.

#1 looks a bit like my echeveria Grey Red from Botany Lane greenhouses in Lafayette, CO





Do you think it could be this one or another echeveria?

#1 does not look like a sedum to me. The stems are wrong but a bit hard to see in the pic. I think it is a mesemb.

I did a bit more searching and it looks like echeveria pludonis which shows up at some nurseries and other web sites.

Looks like it has pinky outling on the tips which would also fit.
