The Cherokee county Master Gardeners Association is doing it up proud this month!

Monday, Oct. 8th there will be a free presentation on The Good, The Bad and The Ugly...Bugs given by Linda Cryer. Linda has been a member since 2007 and has given several presentations. It should be great.

On October 15 the annual Great Scarecrow Trail begins at the arboretum in Jacksonville.

Below is a link to facebook with more information on the Trail. Hope you get a chance to come and visit the Trail and the Rusk, Jacksonville area. East Texas is GREAT this time of year!

I don't drive far from home these days, but if I can persuaded someone to handle the wheel, will come see the scarecrows. Smiling

Wonderful....I'm sure you will love it and the drive down. With the rains we've had East Texas is back in bloom.

And the DEMO Garden is wonderful.

You all know that Dave would NEVER be hateful or smarty to an old woman....so he did NOT mention that in my original post I also did not put the link for the facebook page. He thought one correction per page would be enough.

But he did whisper it to me at the meeting today...what can I say? It is true I need all the help I can get. Well here is the link:
