I added just 5 of his to my collection this year, but I'm really looking forward to the two of his introductions that I have. The first two are little guys.

Ballistic - Black 2002
Trajectory - Black 2003
Wonders Never Cease - Black 2007
Dipped In Dots - Black 2012
Wicked Good - Black 2012

I got some nice ones too, Tom.

I'll post a list later, but just wanted to say, you got some great ones there.

OK, I assume you just want Black ones not all Mid America. Seems like the most I got were Mr. Johnsons.:

I focused on Keppel and Ghio TBs this year but did get Black TBS Fire and Ice 2012 and For Lovers Only. I did add a number of Black Medians........Ignite, Revved Up Rose, Raspberry Tiger, Nosferatu, Keep Off 2012, My Cher 2012, Bright, Bow Tie, Be Brief, Outer Edge, What About Me, Pulsator,Stripe Three, Purple Tiger, and Jeopardy. If bloom season hits right I should be in good shape for our UIS Median show next spring.

Paul, are there a lot of median growers in your group? If not, sounds like you should have a good show for them.

Polly.....there are several of us who love medians and interestingly most are men. We enjoy a friendly competition. We have an informal show late in April at our evening meeting. I had best specimen with IB Spiced Peaches. In early-mid May we have what is usually a mostly median show, and then in later May we have our 3rd show which we call the "big show" as it is usually mostly TBs. Both are AIS approved. This year was an early season and I won the Silver Medal at the median show. Two years before I didn't have any in bloom....a late season. This year I planted some in open beds and some in a warmer bed south of the house hoping to extend the season. Tomorrow I'm going to look at a camper shell for my Pick-up which will make it easier to get flowers to the show.

Had to dig out my receipts again -- apparently I only added one Paul Black this year, and that was *Crash Course*.

Unless, of course, Tom included a PB or two in the Irises he sent me -- I still haven't made a list of those -- I need to.

Yeah -- but *Paul Black* isn't a Paul Black Iris, is it? Someone else hybridized that one?

The post was done in fun. I did add "Paul Black" to my collection this year. It was in fact hybridized by Thomas Johnson. Still, it IS a "Paul Black". Sticking tongue out

OK -- so I got off my sorry butt today and made a list of not only the Irises that Tom sent to me this year, but also some others that I got from a couple of different private sources -- and guess what? -- I added another Paul Black Iris: *Doodads*

So -- that makes a total of three for me, this year. nodding
