Dick I saw this message at the top of their site, maybe they are just behind

Due to the overwhelming number of orders we are currently processing, we are not taking any new orders at this time. We will be hard at work to get caught up as quickly as possible and will re-evaluate this difficult decision after all current orders are fulfilled. We wish all of our hosta friends good health and safety during these difficult times. Hostally, Land of the Giants Hosta Farm Dismiss

I have never used them, but that is a long time with no communication. Let us know how the plants are when they arrive. I have checked out their site a few times and was wondering how the plants are.

I ordered from them several years ago. The plants were beautiful, well packaged and the service good. I've noticed that the mail is very slow during this pandemic. Priority mail is taking 7-8 days to arrive here! Two local nurseries have told me that they've never had so many customers. People are staying home and have time to garden. But, if I understand correctly, your problem isn't the mail. It's the lack of communication? I like the places that keep your credit card # and charge when it's shipped.

If it doesn't get corrected, check out Hollywood Bob or Northern Grown Perennials. They both send beautiful plants.

I hate to say this because I dislike facebook, but to get a response and attention I have to blast them on Social Media. (did this because my daughter said it works) I have had trouble with 3 vendors this yr one of them was Lowes two were online nurseries,

Lowes I called and called contacted the corporate office and was put on hold for one hr and they disconnected the call it was three months for a washer and dryer order that was on my credit card and had not been delivered. This was before the shutdown so no excuse there,

All three when I posted the issue on facebook they immediately contacted me, It use to work complaining on Daves's Garden I do not know if it works anymore.

Land of the Giants is on Facebook, so you might want to give it a try. Most places don't like when there's a negative review for all to see.

i think they look great for mail order bare-root. mine took 12 days and were drrryyyyy but bounced back nicely after a 24 hour soak and being potted. they all have new leaves and a couple have new eyes popping.
paul's glory is a vigorous grower and likes the sun so i'm sure you'll love it once it settles in.

Hope it picks up for you. Just wondered why you said even Ice Age Trail , is it supposed to be a tough one to grow? It is a looker. I am sure it will require cutting out the parts that will revert once in awhile but will be worth it . I did my Brave Attempt today.
