I doubt it is a DA rose, since I purchased it at one of the big box stores and didn't pay lots for it. It was just one of those serendipitous things that happened after I had read some posts about Angel Face and ran across it in the store, or at least what was labeled as such. Ah, well, 'tis a sweet little thing and I promise that photo tomorrow. Just didn't get around to it today. I do have Tradescant and he is one of my favorites, so fragrant and intense a color. I almost drown in its depths just looking at the flower. See photo above.

Scentless, soulless roses don't fare well in my garden and usually don't get invited in!

Thank you, Zu. Cadenza, Reines de Violettes, Leverkusen and others are also starting to bloom for me, so I'll try to get photos of them this week. Oh, how I love spring!

I just looked up Geschwind's Orden on HMF and all the images look considerably lighter pink http://www.helpmefind.com/gard...
Is yours just blooming a deeper shade right now and does it bloom lighter too? I love the deep color of yours as I don't generally do much pink in my garden. Oh never mind , I just saw that it's a once bloomer. Anyways, all of them are lovely images!

Sue: Definitely a once-bloomer, but lovely while it's blooming. This is one I ordered from Vintage or Chamblee's so I have confidence that this one is what it purports to be!

She's really starting to shine in the shade where I have her. Thanks a million!

Thumbs up , I don't see much travel time in my future, strapped to this new house & garden, not to mention the new mortgage. Glare
