I have had this NOID Tall Bearded iris for 2 years. Severla people have asked its name.
I dug it at a iris farm and there were no labels.
Can anyone ID it ?

Jo Ann, it looks like the old Indian Chief to me.
Did you ask Polly?

Yours seems to have more pink overall than Indian Chief, so it might not be.
And the beard seems different as well.

'Wench' would be a good possibility, but obviously, there are several similar varieties. 'Wench' is very widely grown, though.

For comparison's sake, there are many pictures of it in the Iris Encyclopedia:

Hi Kent. I am going with Wench. Its so hard for me to see the minute differences. I dont trade or sell my iris,I just like to know their names.
Polly is usually a great help but I dont want to wear that too thin.
