Hybridizing Daylilies

By mistyfog

Growing daylilies is a relatively easy task. Just plop them in the ground, add some water, and watch the results. But, here's the caveat. Once we begin to grow plants in a monocultural environment, we may enter new avenues that require attention and a bit of research.

Thanks Vickie, Michele, and Leslie, for your oh so nice comments regarding the article.

I'm so happy after 4 or 5 years of work, whatever the number is, to finally have some seedlings
that have at least some potential for a beginning. A couple of them have good
plant habits. Now, if they will just show me some more of the same next season.
