I am working on cleaning up my beds and moving somethings since we are finally making a walkway to the front door.

Both of these plants are in the back terrace and get big and spread out so I am thinking of moving them to make room for some of the iris from the front bed but I can't find the tags I put with them to know what they are.
I know I received them at a swap when I first moved to texas 6 yrs ago lol

could the first one be a duratra (not sure on spelling) but my mind says I used to have a tag for it with something like that on it.

Is the second one a Euonymus? The left portion of the picture looks like one.

I was going to suggest Aster x frikartii Monch last night, the closer photo suggests it might be. There are others which look very similar! Height and flowering season can help but isn't reliable due to different climates and soil conditions.

Aster amellus 'King George' is similar ..

Growth habit, such as whether it's lax or upright, and leaf shape may help. According to the next site, Monch has a slightly lax habit where King George is upright according to the RHS. Monch is an old and reliable variety, I'm leaning towards that.

A picture of the basal leaves of the aster would be most useful (if still present). The upper leaves are often greatly reduced and not terribly different from one species to the next, but the basal leaves can be quite distinctive.
