I was referring to put them in a bed i have been putting together. We bought a load of compost,it's all forest compost i guess you could call it.It drains well & dries out quickly.instead of raking leaves my hubby goes over them with the mower until they are cut up really good. They sit all summer or until i use them.I mixed them into the compost, which already has a lot of material like small sticks etc... in it.The bed is also on a slope and is a rock garden so there's small pebbles as well.
If they would still do better in pots how big of a pot should they be put in compared to the plants size.I do have some yard art & 2 are pot holders that i have been thinking about putting in the bed for plants in the summer that need to come in during the winter.
We are going camping starting this Wed.at a lake i'm hoping to find some drift wood for my bed.
sorry that had nothing to do with plants, but i'm excited about this new bed & looking for the right type of plants for it!!!
