Hi Sue,
SWAMP DUST happens to be one of my favorite daylilies and I would say that I'm almost positive that the photos I submitted are SWAMP DUST. I have had this plant in my garden for at least 3 years. Since I have never seen this plant in person I could have been sent the wrong plant and not have realized it. I'll try to find some other pics of it but for now why don't you leave out those photos.

I love your photos but in neither one matches the registered color description "peach blend with rose white halo and edge".


Wouldn't be the first time a nursery sends the wrong plant. I'll remove your images, perhaps you can find the correct ID from your source.

If this is the same Karin I sold Swamp Dust to, I also sent her fans of Russell Henry Taft and her picture of the yellow Daylily looks like RH Taft which is also Diploid. I will try & upload a picture of one of my new seedlings out of Swamp Dust X Russell Henry Taft.

I was trying to find your email so I could contact you and see if you had a pic of SWAMP DUST and so I'm very glad to see you here. I think you must be right and the pic is actually RUSSELL HENRY TAFT and not SWAMP DUST. Too bad for me as that means that it was SWAMP DUST that did not make it for me and RHTdid. I love both! Your seedling is beautiful, what a great cross!
