I meant I remember the system of gas rationing by license plate number. I was living in Ohio, but traveling in Pa. They wouldn't sell me gas in Pa to return home. My husband (then my boyfriend) switched plates from his Mother's car to mine so I could buy gas to return home.

So we never lost power thru the storm but lost phone and internet, then we lost power on Thursday after we loaned out our generator, so hubby had to go buy another one, power came back on in the middle of the night. 1 huge branch of ornamental pear broke didn't trust that the rest wouldn't come down so we took the whole thing down yesterday
We need the electric for the fan.. But the jump pack can handle it for a few hours.. If we can't run the generator.. Might be worth getting the battery back up Jen
