Thanks, next year I would like to add a few more to have some color during the Fall. Please post your photos of what is showing out for you late in the year.

Thanks

I took these photos Sept 28. Everything looked great until the 2nd week in October. Had killing frost and a bit of snow. We have Winter now.

My alyssum clear crystal is the only thing still blooming here. Too cold to take pictures! But I have a shot here taken on Nov.2 last year.

And Geranium Rozanne has just a very few blossoms left. It has never been out of bloom since May.

I have a bit of the purple clear crystal alyssum (thanks for telling me about those, Karen) that is still blooming in a pot out front.

Aren't they great, Woofie? I love that they're supplied as multi-seed pellets, too. I've only had the white, but I just ordered the mixed colors last week. I haven't even't gotten them in the mail yet.

My only complaint is that the purple ones don't seem to be as fragrant as the Snow Crystals.

I agree. The white alyssum is way more fragrant

I can't comment on the fragrance. My nose isn't very good.

I bought mine several years ago so I don't remember. I bought a big load of them (white) so I'm still using that same batch. I ordered some mixed colors last week from Harris. Again, it was a bunch, but they'll last me for years.

I had a free shipping offer from Harris last week, and I wanted another seed from them, so I ordered the alyssum, too.

I'm sure other companies sell them too. If you google it, I'm sure you'll find others.

I got my purple Clear Crystal from Swallowtail. But for the white alyssum I prefer the Snow Crystals variety; it's very fragrant and seems to form a more compact plant than the Clear Crystal variety (although that could just be where I had them planted). You can get Snow Crystals just about anywhere, too.
