forgot to ad we had small earthquake at 7:45 am here measured 2.9 couple things knock down off the porch,for which at the time I just thought it was just the high winds we were having.I guess Mother Nature is psss off. Angry

Forest slab for putting bonsai trees on.here a picture of the slab itself. I will follow up with planted pear tree seedlings on in by tomorrow.Some people use cement to build a slab out of that weight a ton. Smiling mine will weight less than a pound.

Heavy frost this morin,kill off most of the remaining plants I had left outside,fig tree which I was hoping to get some figs off of. tommy toe's by one my koi ponds.The dogs don't seem to care,they doing their normal play fight as unsual.Got to fire up my small kin to finish firing the small forest slab.

Raining here,as always looking for a new project,after studying on it,a hobbit house came to mine.there are no building plans online anywhere found a few people who built some full size hobbit houses and one lady over in Uk who buit a very good model of one.So I fig. what the heck I'll look at lord of the rings hobbit houses and build my own model.So i started my designs today.Will have to make the brick and tite out of some clay,will post some pictures once I get started.

I got a what I call a mud mountain in the kiln now,and I didn't blow it up for a change,had started on a different forest slab,too much cracking on it,watering it down to reclaim the clay and trying again.tried to contact a local potter here I guess she like the rest of them here doesn't want to be bothered.go figue.
