Wow, what a gorgeous plant! But, I think it may be a Travelers Palm. They sometimes get confused with Strelitzia but get quite a bit larger. While Strelitzia grows to heights to 30' the Traveler's Palm can reach heights of 60'.

Traveler's Palm, Ravenala madagascariensis:

If I'm wrong please forgive me, but if your photo is indeed the Travelers Palm I hope you will submit a proposal to move your great picture to the entry for Ravenala:

I hope someone moves it to its proper location in the DB. Sorry for the confusion. Where do I post the proposal to move it?

Cheryl: I think you should leave it where it is for the time being. My eyes aren't the greatest and I'm wrong a lot of times, so it may very well be Strelitzia nicolai. I'm trying to think of someone more knowledgeable with tropicals. Maybe I will ask Janet (JRsbugs) to take a look at it ... she is an expert in identifying plants!
