I would like some colocasia or alocasia, I think. Can anyone tell me the best way to keep them going in the house, and then I will use them outside in the spring?

Thanks!

Thanks Mike.

I've read they are hard to grow inside, and that they're easy to grow. Hoping for some true experience.

I think behind my whirlpool tub, under the skylight might be good, but maybe not enough light. I can put together lighting elsewhere, but won't they get too tall?

Sounds like the Alo and Colo are tc starts Mike? Small in any case and most will do OK overwinter growing inside Polly. They may not flourish in really low light but you should be able to keep them going til spring. I just wish Mike was doing this sale in the spring or I'd be in, in, in.

OK, if Evan thinks I can keep them going, I'm in. I can handle the starts. We did great with some from TC3 this year, but there are some listed I don't have.

Are these from a good supplier that you have dealt with before? Are they a nice size? I am looking and plan on putting in a small order.

i have ordered plants from them before but none of these

the size is quoted as 2 1/2 in pots and good root system under 12 in tall STARTER PLANTS i can not guarantee the plant due to i dont have the plant to tell you. even with a great supplier you can get plants that are not what you expect all i can say is that all the plants order to date have been small starter plants they are not big but prices are not big. i hate to put it this way but the guarantee is they will be alive when received and how they are taken care of after that is not guaranteed sorry its all i can tell you and do daves garden has a great data base also and you can always Google them i might be able to come up with some pics but not for the full list i am not up charging and not making money off these i an just covering my cost thats it

If this is a "go", I'd like these:

Colocasia:

Black magic
Elena
Nancyana
Mojito
Sangria
red stem
Black ruffles
(and Illustris if you decide to get that one)

One of each, please.
I garden for the pollinators.
