As a comment about Blue Glorybower (Rotheca myricoides subsp. myricoides), plantladylin wrote:

Clerodendrum ugandense is a spring to fall flowering evergreen shrub that can attain heights to 10 feet when planted in ground. It has long arching branches with serrate, opposite 3-4" leaves. The shrub flowers on the current seasons growth so it can be pruned at any time to keep it to a desired size. The inflorescences are 4-10" long panicles of individual flowers, each having three to four pale blue lobes and one violet blue lobe. The flowers resemble little butterflies, hence one of the common names of "Blue Butterfly Bush". This Clerodendrum performs best in frost free climates but it is root hardy in zones 9 where it will freeze to the ground in harsh winters and re-sprout from the roots in spring. It does best in partial shade with regular watering during the active growth period but water should be reduced in the winter months. Clerodendrum ugandense makes an excellent container plant in colder climates where it can be moved to a protected location during the winter.

Great information!

I'm in zone 5b and grow this plant in a medium-sized container. I cut mine back at the end of the season, store it cool and dark over the winter, and it does wonderfully! In the spring I just set it out next to an east-facing wall and it starts growing again when it's ready to. Thumbs up

Chelle: I don't currently grow this plant but it's still on my "Wish"/"Plan to Buy" List. I hope you will consider entering your comments in the information section for this plant. Providing your growing conditions will be very helpful to others. I didn't realize that it could be grown as a container plant, cut back and stored over winter and that's great information to know! Thumbs up

I thought I was in the information/comments area. (??) If I'm not, can you point me to the proper place?

Last winter I kept this plant in the crawl space under my house. It depends on how bad of a winter we get as to whether I'll keep it there again all winter, or move it into a cool closet during January/February. This particular closet (unheated and against an outside wall) is used more for tender plant and bulb storage than it is for anything else! Hilarious!

Chelle: You left a reply to my comment. For your comment/information to show up on the plants front page you need to scroll down to the area that says "Adding Actions", click on "Leave a Comment" and post your information and growing conditions etc. regarding the plant. Otherwise, others would only see your comment if they read the replies to my comment. Confused Confused yet? It took me a few minutes to figure out what was happening.
