Ok, let me try this again and i will try to make it simple and no i don't agree to it being ID'd as roxburghii. Also that this is not a isolated tree or a dying tree. All the photographs are from different trees.

The first two trees i saw i ignored as dying trees until i came across a third one and third time in not chance. The normal pine colouration of roxburghii is green as can be seen in the back ground.

Above i am trying to show the new needle growth pattern. The dark green one is Pinus roxburghii with a growth pattern like a brush or a donkey's tail. The yellow green one is the NOID. Look at its new needle growth pattern, isolated new needles coming out.
Thumb of 2012-11-09/KAMasud/49d327
In this photograph the left one is the trunk of the NOID and the right one in Pinus roxburghii. As you can see the barks are different.

To show the size of the pine cones. These cones are max three inches in size while roxburghii's is anywhere from six inches to nine inches, elongated.

To show its not an isolated incident or a mutation or a dying tree.

Masud.

There is Pinus wallichiana which is often found amongst Pinus roxburghii, the ordinary form is green but there are named Cultivars which are probably different forms found in nature.

Look at Pinus wallichiana 'Zebrina'

First pic Pinus wallichiana. Look at the needles.
Second pic wallichiana with roxburghii in the foreground. Now look at both their needles.
This is some thing different.

Cedrus deodar. Look at its needles.
Now listen to a story that folk tales and names tell. Frangipanni(Plumeria) Frangi points to Franks and panni to water, The plant that the Franks brought over the water. Same way Acacia. There is a Mona kikar. Now Mona is not a normal name before 1700's. This name points to another famous Mona. Another one, Villayti kikar, Angrezi kikar, Kabuli kikar. Villayti points towards UK. Angrezi towards British, now this Kikar has thorns and its botanical name is Prosopis juliflora, sad but it has thorns. The point is, some things don't belong to this area so take the Databases with a pinch of salt and there are Prosopis with out thorns and they look like Acacia Blinking .
With regards and hope you can solve it,
KAMasud.

I thought I had put a link to the site where it states Pinus wallichiana often grows amongst Pinus roxburghii.

More searching, I see how the needles on your tree tend to shoot uowards more.

LoL. Its not me shooting up my needles but the tree is the guilty culprit. Happy hunting and please don't forget it is a joint hunting expedition and I am also trying to solve this conundrum. After this it will be the Acacia but do be careful that there is no Janetburghii and the chances are bright. Hilarious! Forgive me if I take the liberty.

Masud.
