Some of our spring bulbs are "peekin", too. My son has an apple tree that had a dozen or so bloosoms last week! I have quite a few Dutch iris bulbs, but only have limited success with them. Here, they gradually disappear over time. We have one ,all yellow, (don't have a clue as to it's name) that seems to prosper, and increase, while others seem to die out. I think it's climate, and not culture or squirrels, because it gets pretty **** here, with little **** cover for protection. We have the same thing with most tulips, so we treat them as annuals, and plant every year. The cottage type and the species tulips seem to last and increase, but the Darwins don't like it too well, our ****** is just too long and **** with early ******s . ...Arlyn
