Joanne---I've grown them several years for our tea garden demonstration bed. I recall that they have a light lemony scent. In our zone, they do not bloom all summer....they seem to like slightly cooler weather so they do well early but then fade away. In your zone, they might do very well through the season. I really love the color of them.

Thanks Linda. I think I started them too early. They are huge. I put them in some plastic beer mugs until I get my big pots cleaned and the greenhouse started up. It's still under 10 hour daylight, so I will wait until after March 1st. Should be 11 hours by then

Joanne--they do seem to mature pretty quickly. I had a few years where they were blooming under my grow lights before I ever even got them outside. They are worth growing through for their color and fragrance. It's also pretty easy to save seed from them.
