Holy moly. Those are beauties. The Big Picture sounds like an especially nice pink with "no tan in the rose pink color". And look at those deep purples with the ruffles. Very nice indeed.....Maryl

No, it was TET. TIMESTOPPER. And I just emailed them to see if I can reserve one, along with BURMESE JADE and SPINEFELD. I just wish I knew whether BURMESE JADE will actually have a lot of green in it. That one is a "Maybe" for me -- soooooo expensive, these beauties! Why am I not rich? Crying

A good friend and local daylily grower had seen a photo of Spinefeld and he is so excited that it is finally released. Is it just me or do their prices seem higher this year? I am always drawn to the really dark ones like Buffalo Thunder and Midnight in Paris but Open Season appeals to me since it is said to bloom all summer through October. Betty, if we were rich then we would have our own gardeners who would do all our work for us. Wouldn't that be grand?

Wouldn't it, though? I think the prices are a little higher this time, but they've pointed out for the last couple of years that they've held their prices to under $200 and now I guess they're going for it. Can't blame them -- their daylilies are absolutely GORGEOUS and totally unique! Maybe I can do a second order later in the spring and get another one... sigh...

Kim ordered the 2013 full form collection and the mini collection. Also, if they will have these fall 2012s available, COOL RUNNINGS, SUNSET STRIP, ROLLERCOASTER RUSH, RED BULL, and GREAT WHITE.

Oh, thank you Michele! Now I don't feel NEARLY as bad as I did before I saw this, because I think I am going to add one more: BEYOND PLUTO! And that is way more than I should be spending... I think I need Hemaholics Anonymous or something...

By the way, did you see the picture of COOL RUNNINGS that they had in their fall catalog? That's what made me purchase it, and it looks so very different than the picture on their website. And I really love the look of their new minis too. Somehow I had gotten the idea that they were phasing out the minis and that 2012 was the last year for them, but there they are again -- love those little guys!

I bought last springs mini collection, surprising myself since I like big, tall daylilies. Only one bloomed last summer, and my, it was a beauty. Even with the drought here, they all increased, and are currently buried under a lot of mulch. I am hoping for grand things from them next year.

And am debating whether or not to order this ones mini collection.

I too got the impression they were phasing them out, instead I see some beauties....

On the other hand, I really really should just be patient, and see how my current ones do next year up here in Wisconsin.....

Ya think? Big Grin

OK, here is what I like and will probably order:

1. "Stenciled di Fresco" to cross with Waves of Joy, and they both have a same parent, Tet Texas Kaleidoscope.

2. "Midnight in Paris"

3. "Eye Chiwawa"

4. "Beyond Pluto"

I also ordered Volaris from the fall collection. So much for spending less this coming year. Hilarious! Whistling

There are really wonderful daylilies listed in their General Listing too. I added CROWNING LIGHT to my order, as well as TET. TIMESTOPPER. And this is for Michele -- did you notice they have a TET WAXEN SPLENDOR? What a fantastic huge green throat that spills over to the sepals! But the price totally cooled my heels!!!

They are higher this time -- but Guy Pierce says they're swamped with phone calls and emails, so they've gone to an auto-email message and say they'll get back to us, hopefully within 36 hours. So it certainly isn't hurting their business! Also, other hybridizers have some pretty hefty prices this time too. So it's OK with me -- I just can't order as many... yet! nodding

I filled out the Order Form and emailed it. They sent a confirmation in only two days and thanked me for emailing my order form, because they are swamped with phone calls.

Same here -- Karen decided to go back to work full-time, and according to her so far it's causing problems and may not work out. She had to catch up on all the orders over the weekend. So If you place an order with them please give them some time to confirm your order.

I ordered about twice as much as I expected to spend, but I just couldn't pass up these beauties because they are perfect for my hybridizing plans: BEYOND PLUTO, BURMEASE JADE, SPINEFELD, TET. TIME STOPPER , CROWNING LIGHT and CHILD OF ATLANTIS. Well, CHILD OF ATLANTIS doesn't exactly fit with my plans because it's a dip, but how could I resist it? nodding

Can't wait to get these beauties in March!
