I see you on there Teresa every once in awhile. I don't frequent it very much though. There are a couple of daylily groups on there and I check them out sometimes. This past summer I did post some seedlings pics on there to get some opinions on them. I agree with Fred, lots of drama.

I joined Facebook, but it is way too slow and cumbersome for me. The pages are too big and take way too long to load. I get on there sometimes if my grandkids send me something, they love it. Chatting here (posting) is much easier.

I hate drama, life is too short for it. If I want a little drama I watch The Bachelor or something. Finding Bigfoot is back with new episodes yipeee!!

I used to do MySpace awhile ago because all my going out friends were on there, haven't been on it in ages (probably should delete it). I did have a Facebook account when FB wasn't the "in thing" yet and never did much with it since there wasn't many people on it.

I don't have time for it now even if I wanted to use FB and Fred's right, too much BS.

Dot, that's one of my favorite shows. I know 2 people that have seen one and they are very reliable people, so I know they exist.

Kim, my oldest girls are the reason that I started an account. Both my husband and my families are in several states. We like to post pics to share and use the private messages and chat sometimes. I will see if I can find you Rolling my eyes.

I too am on Facebook - JM Phillips. I enjoy it. I don't think I have many friends that cause drama, except perhaps my kids Blinking so all is good. I too love it for the connection of family and friends, especially when I have kids all over the world at certain times. Also, because of Facebook, I believe that I have better communication with my nieces and their families than I would be otherwise. Sure, I used to send group emails to family, but this ability to share photos and snippets of my life, and vice versa seems to work so much better.

Granted, I usually just peep in once a day - if that; unlike when I first opened my account and played the farm games and other games constantly. Also, when my kids are overseas, I will spend more time on it at certain hours of the days so that I can perhaps be able to chat with them.

I also like being able to send a photo from my phone and post it, especially when traveling. Sometimes just to make my family jealous Whistling In addition, my family has a private "Cottage" group where it is simpler than email to post information and discuss issues with the family Cottage in western PA, since I live 10 hours west of there.

I know Kim is already my "friend" I will have to try to friend you Teresa. ~Jan

Teresa, I have bought bulbs from Sam's club before. I have gotten the daffodils and the lycoris bulbs. I believe I have gotten elephant ear bulbs also and caladium bulbs. The daffodils I got were the big bag of the yellow ones and then the boxes of the ones that had the different colored ones (orange, pink, white, and doubles). They are really nice bulbs and big too.

I am on Facebook. I have my private page for family and a few piano folks. Then I have my 'Distinctive Garden Designs' page (which you can view and LIKE) where I share pics quite often.

I got discouraged the last few months though. FB has changed its 'freeness' for businesses and want to charge $200 for each post. WTF? I have 200 followers! Then it was revealed that not only does one LIKE a page, one needs to click on the LIKE and check another box that says you will continue to get all messages from that page. I sent a note out a few times as I knew that about 30 (different) people (they say a percentage) would get the posts. I think I have most of my regular peepers back! Pain in the butt though, for just wanting to share photos of gardens.

I also regularly read the AHS board there. I have disabled CHAT though.

Come on over, if you wish to see garden photos!

I am on Facebook with both a personal page and my garden page. Been on FB for several years and never encountered any virus or such. My primary purpose to be on Facebook right now is for my running. I live in a huge running community that is very active and the majority of my friends are runners. Many of them were surprised to learn that I also do daylilies. I wonder if my daylily friends were surprised to learn about my interest in running?
