I too am on Facebook - JM Phillips. I enjoy it. I don't think I have many friends that cause drama, except perhaps my kids
so all is good. I too love it for the connection of family and friends, especially when I have kids all over the world at certain times. Also, because of Facebook, I believe that I have better communication with my nieces and their families than I would be otherwise. Sure, I used to send group emails to family, but this ability to share photos and snippets of my life, and vice versa seems to work so much better.
Granted, I usually just peep in once a day - if that; unlike when I first opened my account and played the farm games and other games constantly. Also, when my kids are overseas, I will spend more time on it at certain hours of the days so that I can perhaps be able to chat with them.
I also like being able to send a photo from my phone and post it, especially when traveling. Sometimes just to make my family jealous
In addition, my family has a private "Cottage" group where it is simpler than email to post information and discuss issues with the family Cottage in western PA, since I live 10 hours west of there.
I know Kim is already my "friend" I will have to try to friend you Teresa. ~Jan
