This summer in my pond I had:
1 fancy tail gold fish
1 comet
1 shubunkin

When I went to catch them to put in the pond in the basement I found a couple dozen baby fish. Blinking
How? and who? Confused

Most all goldfish ( carp ) can interbreed.. You might be supprised at what the babies turn out to look like

Yep, Sarassas, Ryunkins, Lionheads, Moors, Shubinkins etc. are all just "goldfish" with fancy name for each different attribute.

Carp-which your fish are are cold water fish and can live through a cold winter, hibernating at the bottom. As long as your pond is at least 3 feet deep they should be OK. Here's my disclaimer, IDK about ice. Assuming your pond has or will freeze over I only assume carp will survive. But the babies?? IDK? November here in Texas is the time to clean out ponds. Our fish are already hibernating and I never see them. If you want to move them indoors, I'd say do it now...before it snows. I have Koi, Shubunkin,. comets and an undetermined amount of babies.

my outside pond is only about 18 inches deep. They'd never survive a Canadian winter...which is why I have a pond in the basement...stays about 60 down there and they go dormant.

Ewwww, maybe the babies should go into a different tank? Be kind of cool to get a chance to see how they grow up. Smiling

Hee hee, that first picture reminded me of this. With apologies to the original author (one of my classmates in high school, but I don't remember who) and I'm sure I left out part of it:

It's been several days since I've been fed
My keepers don't care if I'm living or dead
There's no one to talk to and nothing to do
I look out the window at the same old view

I circle my cage, going round and round
I search for escape where none's to be found
My fatal beauty was my only sin
It got me into the fix I'm in

Then suddenly I freeze in dread!
A huge furry claw is overhead!
If this terrible monster has his wish
I'll certainly be one dead goldfish!

Big Grin
