This unusual Sans was shared with me a few years ago.

I've not been able to get a firm ID but am charmed by it.

The first photo shows the ribbing Thumb of 2012-11-19/pod/9fe18d
on the stalks. I see it has an old bloom stalk sticking out from the main body.

Thumb of 2012-11-19/pod/8da484

This second photo shows how it sends out runners to produce new plants.
The new plants also puts out heavy roots.

The third photo will show it is not a large plant.

Thumb of 2012-11-19/pod/099261

I have it in a 6" hanging pot. I hang it up high as the tips of these stalks have incredibly sharp points.

I (and the sweet gal that shared this with me) would love to know which Sans this is.

All interesting suggestions ~ thank you both but none of those look quite right.

My photos don't quite illustrate how primitive this Sans looks.
It may be a cross of the above suggestions but it is closer to the harqesia Somalia than the rest.

And now I've got an urge to go Sansevieria shopping. lol

Hi! Yes, it is one of the cylindricas ~ perhaps I need to search in that direction.

I also have a Sans Francisii which is a lot smaller than this one but is similar to this plant. The tips of the leaves on both plants have a really sharp brown tip. The Francisii also puts out a runner for the new plant in the same manner that this one does. I just don't know... I've not seen one like it. My start was shared from the Oregon area.

I got lost in the BobSmoley link for a while. That is sure dangerous for me... lol
