I thought I was seeing things today when I noticed a stalk starting to develop on Lest We Forget. I just planted it the end of July this year. We've had several hard frosts already here so I guess it will be toast before it even gets started. Sad

A lot of my "new" plantings are "stalking" also. So far only 2 have actually bloomed, the rest seem to stall out just as they start to show color, and then dry out Thumbs down . I think that they are as confused as I am about the weather! We've had several nights in the 'teens(last week) and yesterday and today were in the 60's Shrug! . Go figure?!...Arlyn

How's Lest We Forget doing, Julia? Hope it "happens" for you. It was 15deg. here, this AM. The only thing growing here is the broccoli and brussels sprouts! Sticking tongue out ...Arlyn

I think it is afraid to do any more growing. Seems like it is just stopped. I haven't been out in the garden and can only view from the
windows but it has not changed since I last viewed it. Crying
Suppose to have flurries here again today. Sad

Think Spring & ignore the outside. New England & other places do grow in the fall.
