Here is 'Instant Gold' from Mike's Siam order in the summer.
Its kind of a creamy yellow, but its keeping its color.

I don't see much gold in there (not a gold digger anyway) but it is a nice one.
Did it open up the blooms a bit?

I only see pink and white, maybe the flash washed it out.

These flowers just do NOT photograph as we see them.

I have a Siam Golden Aroma from a Mike coop that turns pink the secod day, and isn't much fragrant. But it's a happy flower.

thanks all
I have had a lot of challenges in my life right now

you all know i had a horrid car accident last year and back surgery in December last year and i was so thankful i had "good" insurance BUT and i say BUT i had to go threw so many steps before surgery ....PT.....Chiro....pain management with MRI....Epidurals (2 sets in back and neck) then finally Otho Dr for surgery 5 months later and then scheduled surgery and then recovery.....that all took 1 year and 3 months... WELL I have worked at Walt Disney World for 14 1/2 yrs and next month my 15 yr anniversary BUT that Happiest place on earth has a policy that if you are out for a medical reason and can not return to your job in your job location with in 365 days they conciser you self terminated !!!! so i find out and they file the papers 1yr and 8 months after my first day off loss to self term. me. what did it take so long? because the right hand dosnt know what left is doing and the interpretation of the policy.

So as of November 11 i was terminated and no chance of unemployment due to my " self termination" ...DO i fight them with a lawyer? well they are one of the largest corporations in the world right now. they spend more then 1 billion dollars a year on lawyers and attorneys the best of the best. A union yes i have been in a union and have spent over 6000.00 in union dues the whole time i was with the company there official statement is "The company has that policy in place and all paper work dont to there policy and the law sorry nothing we can help you with".

I was released to return to work in July and waited for a position to open for me and asked every 3-4 weeks what do i need to do to retain my job? re ponce was you have filled out all the paper work and done everything you can all your ducks are in a row dont worries about it just wait we will find something.
so for 4 months I waited to be terminated......I have climbed the ladder of responsibility and tomorrow is my last ditch effort with the person in charge of ALL LABOR RELATIONS AT ALL OF WALD DISNEY WOLD but i am not holding my breath.

The reason I am telling you all this never trust anyone's word for anything and even if you read a rule or regulation chances are you are not interpreting it the way the corporation is. I am the master of following rules and knowing how to cover my ass but they finally got me...if they can get me they can get anyone.

This is a difficult thing I am 45 yo and have never been out of a job sense i was 7 yo starting with my dads business. This is just the tip of my iceberg and it is a big iceberg...i am around and do check all my tree mails and emails.

I am so glad you have blooms Mike and that is not one that is all gold or yellow it has the stripes also as it gets bigger and heat it might get more gold in it i would like to see a complete open flower

thanks for well wishes
