It goes here, Masud. Roses are listed under their exhibition names. This one is exhibited as 'Green Rose.'

Roses are listed under their exhibition names, thank you zuzu and now where do I find exhibition names? No need to answer if you think it will lead to a long winded debate. Thumbs up

Masud.

I should have said that roses are alphabetized under their exhibition names. All of their other names are also listed and are searchable. You could have found this one by searching for "rosa viridiflora" because you already knew that name.

Viride and Album, yes zuzu I should know *Blush* what these Latin terms mean, after all I play with Herbals. Its just that when I go to any seasonal plants page and looking at all those names? I had entered green rose then I entered the name as it is in the subject line, nothing.
This computer seems to be stuck in quicksand. Will go for a hard format today before this silly thing infects others. Sad Maybe a bit irritated fighting this quicksand.

Rosaceae is the family, and our database doesn't list plant families. Rosa is the genus, so entering just "Rosa viridiflora" in the search box would have worked, and so would entering just "green rose."

Sorry zuzu won't do it again. Learning, getting there, slowly slowly catching the monkey. Learning curve and a rusted brain.

Oh, zuzu it was 5.30 in the morning and I was fresh so I thought, might as well. It was cold, rainy, cloudy and foggy which does cheer a person up.

Masud.

It was cold and rainy in "sunny California" today too. Sometimes it's good to have an excuse not to garden. Now that the weather's turning colder, I take less pleasure in going outside and seeing all the roses that have to be pruned and all the weeds that have to be pulled. Today I had a good excuse to stay inside and read a couple of books instead.

Hilarious! Quite true zuzu. I am trying to do some thing with this buggy computer today, where as the bug does not want to leave. Now it is nine hours and still stuck. Survival is now built in. Glare
