Gorgeous Lyle! I'm so jealous!!!

Lyle, we LOVE Lady Duck! The substance is something else. Every bloom is a good bloom. It has been a very good parent for hybridizer Don Eller. He has had at least 3 Junior Citation winners out of LD. Our first seedlings from LD will bloom this coming summer. Glad to see you have blooms in December. We have scapes but am cutting them off as I find them. They are deformed from the 24 degrees we had early last week.

OK, you've convinced me that I need to get LADY DUCK -- plus when I looked at the incredible 2013's on the Ellers' website it seemed like I saw that name a lot in the listed parentage of those gorgeous intros. And I love your seedling too! It's going down to the 60's here now, plus my last bud on FIESTA FLIRT has now opened and I collected pollen to freeze, so I guess I'm done for 2012 -- although I do have scapes coming along on RED CHILE RENDEZVOUS, BLISSFUL BLACKBERRY PIE and another on FIESTA FLIRT. Your blooms are absolutely beautiful!!!

Love it! Geeze, sure dont have any scapes here, but the weather has been very kind to my seedlings, baring some unforeseen catastrophe, looks like I might actually get a nice % of blooms. Fingers crossed.

I think you need to try it with all of them. It is a nice one for sure.

The only daylily blooming at this time from the above group is Lady Duck - the other bloom are from the summer and used as possible crosses with LD .
