Neat!!!! I have heard of Alyssum but have never seen the plant.

Does the color of the throat change or are they just a different bloom?

They look like jewels.

Thanks Marilyn.

I love Alyssum and use it in my borders and planters every year, They form nice neat mounds just covered in blooms, bees love them and they have a great fragrance, perfumes the whole yard if you plant enough of them like I do.

The color changes as the blooms mature, they come in pink and lavender also but I find the fragrance isn't as strong as the white. I pair them with blue or purple upright Lobelia as a border around most of my flower beds.

I didn't recognize it as Alyssum either. Beautiful Margaret. I will never see them the same again. And I will be down on my hands and knees to sniff their wonderful scent.
