Have you tried "Earl of Essex," Brad? It always(except this year-{freshly moved this summer}) does well for me, here. This was the first year that "Immortality" has tried to bloom for me, it didn't make it, but I had a lot of stalks/buds. The trick here seems to be to not let the plants go into summer dormantcy after spring bloom. More fertilizer and more water, and you're right, this year was no picnic! And I think we're in for another just like it....Arlyn

Aryln I have not tried Earl of Essex but if it is reliable for you, I will get it next year would be great to have some bloom in the fall, I hope the weather turns around and we get some moisture I am really enjoying the warmer days it got back up to 50 today again but we really need the rain. I am not sure how many trees I lost this year will have to wait till spring to see what leafs out but they will really be in trouble without some snow or rainfall.
