Summer is a distant memory here but I spend a lot of time going back through my photos and thinking about gardening. Here's a pic of a combo that I like. Please add some of your favorite garden pictures!
Maltese Cross (Silene (Lychnis) chalcedonica) cv. with Veronicastrum sibiricum and Persicaria polymorpha:

First one is the Trailing Morning Glory, Shidare, second is Roselle Hibiscus, Thai Red.

It's been wild here weather wise - today the high was in the low 70's and tomorrow suppose to be in the upper 70's! My White Butterfly hedychium ginger is still blooming! This picture was taken this morning!!!!! What a fragrant treat! Unfortunately, looks like winter will be back on the menu by Wednesday.

Thanks Xeramtheum!
spring, the thread is 'Memories of summer'. Do you have anymore memories?? Mine is all gone too, even the pansies are from last year I did not plant any this year, no room anyway. Last two projects were perennial beds and mostly butterfly plants, like coneflowers. Daylilies are everywhere else, I am going to be digging lawn next.
