Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Mat.6:28-29
What a great forum for these wintery days! Springcolor I would love to know what the tall hanging red bell type flowers are in your picture at the top of the third page third frame over It is beautiful!

That's Phygelius or cape fuchsia. Not sure of the name of that one maybe 'Purple Prince'. It's not really red more a raspberry. Good only down to zone 7. 2 years ago they took a beating and were just comming back this summer.
My contribution, I'm heavily into the purples, but I did add a little orange in this year. I am so enjoying this thread! Such wonderful pictures, everyone.
Good eye, Jo. Yes, it's buddleia alternifolia. Has a fantastic smell and blooms very early in the season. Get's pretty large, though, and unruly. One sign that our temps are changing here. 20 years ago when I planted them, they only bloomed from the snowline down, now for the past 10 years or so, since it's warmed up, the whole shrub blooms every year.

This is one of the daylilies I got from Maryott's. We cut off all the scapes a month ago to keep them from blooming. Whoa!!
Thanks Polly!
