I agree Bev, me too, I hope for the best and wait and see...or if I happen to check and there is still hope - try some quicker draining soil! It sure is good to commiserate with other's who are loosing things Sad some of my NOID semps don't look good at all, and the other day I went through and pulled several mushies out, can't remember if they'd bloomed or not (I always tell myself they must have bloomed, somehow that makes me feel better!) Rolling on the floor laughing even if I know doggone well that its a lie nodding

This winter my ever resilient Sedum dendroideum is pouting really bad. Keeping fingers crossed that it is just a phase that it wants to drop the older leaves to give way to newer ones, otherwise, I will feel so sad!!

I hope so too, tarev. It's looking pretty threadbare. Sad

And the rains returned last night ugh! It is still cloudy today, but it is breezy, so hopefully the succulents though feeling cold will dry up with the breeze.

I agree Leave them alone until spring and then cut out the winter damage. The damaged part insulates the underling live part. No damage as yet amongst my succulents or cactus even though for last two weeks the temps have ranged between 10c and zero with no sun, just fog and moisture all around.
Regards,
Arif.

And that's why I like growing succulents....when hands off means more love for them Big Grin

These three succulents are enduring the cold quite well too, though I am closely observing how the brain cactus is doing, don't want to make it go mushy.

The sun always seems to help even when its frigid. Our temps have turned balmy again - into the 60s and 70s.
I garden for the pollinators.

It rained overnight two days in a row..glad that it was just drizzly mostly and not heavy downpours, but this is the kind of cold and wet scenario that is worrisome for my succulents. Keeping fingers crossed that they will endure. Rolling my eyes.
