Great photos, all.

Josephine, those first two photos look like little elfin feather dusters. nodding

The little red thing in my photo is a Northern Cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis). Lovey dubby It was the first "winter" photo I could find. I feed a lot of birds in the wintertime, even the crows. I don't do garden clean-up until spring so the critters can have the seeds and anything else that's left.

No, I was talking about the field of white/grey with a splash of red in it. Tee's first photograph. Oh, Ok, sorry Tee, now I can make out the shape of the bird. Had to put on my glasses, then expand it, with Tee's help now I can. Had to let my imagination run riot but for the love of me I could not see how it was a Turks turban Hibiscus?

Masud.

I have seen red birds but not in this part of the world. I was not expecting a bird, maybe some kind of mushroom or a bloom but red had me confused. Tee, sorry.

Masud.
