Included with the Royal Dutch Hybrid Single Amaryllis group.
After potting in container with an inch around sides to pot and with head and shoulders above the soil, takes 8 to 12 weeks to flower.
Best potted from October through Feb.
If storing till a target start date, store dry at around 50°w/ good ventilation.
Bulbs should measure 28 (B&B) to 34 cm.(JS)
After flowering, cut off spent flower stalk, continue to water and fertilize and place outside when the climate is warm enough. I usually leave bulb in it's pot which I sink into the earth until time to cease watering and allow bulb a multi-week dormancy before commencing another round of blooms.
This white and raspberry red and crimson Amaryllis is a joy to behold.
