Paul, what a beautiful photo. I particularly like the one in front.
How long have you had these particular plants. Do you carry them from one year to the next?

Thanks Lynn....these are bulbs I bought this fall. The one you like is Cinderella and I got it for $9 at Home Depot. I do keep my bulbs from year to year. They spend the summer on a partially shaded patio. I have about 20 in a basement room resting now and will start bringing them up to my sunny window after Christmas.....two or three at a time to extend the season.

What a great idea. What do you feed them with, and when?
Do the leaves die back while they are in the basement?

I feed them every couple of weeks with something like 5-10-5. I bring them inside in Set or Oct depending on the weather. They rest in a dark cool room and the foliage yellows and dies back and when it has collapsed I trim it off. One year I took two out of the pot with the soil and planted them in the spring where they received morning sun, regular deep watering and regular fertilization. When I dug them in the fall they were huge. My problem is to many plants squeezed into my planting areas.
