should have posted more pictures here this last year. Next year will be better. We have been getting some wonderful much needed rain. My painted Lady is growing new leaves after the last ones froze. I have an extra in Greenhouse for back up but I'm hoping this one will come back from roots and do great.....

Mine are doing pretty good also, I have 4 int the sun room and 5 in the gararge under a light 8 hrs a day but no heat, they seem to be holding up pretty good.
We got 7 inches of snow yesterday and expecting more, I hope it stops now, that's enough.

Yes, Painted Lady is an eye popper when the sun is just right in the morning.
I brought in the tops from her this week, had new leaves coming out. I hope her roots are strong. but I got back up.

Dearest Doris, the snow is so beautiful. You must be careful, as I know it can be quite dangerous. When I was a kid I was always falling, it seemed. the cold is so bad for my bones and joints...
but the beauty almost ( ) makes it worth it. Hugs and much love, Dear friend...

Doris....LOVE your snow pics. I grew up in Pa. and miss snow, but ONLY at Christmas. As a kid we (my family) used to go to the neighbors and friends caroling...was much more fun in the snow

Well we got another 3" Sat. so I am homebound for awhile.

I am so glad we don't have to worry about snow right now. Not that it would be impossible. But Spring has arrived and I have pulled the brugs out of the Green house and some are already in the ground and getting their leaves on... anyone else got anything going and growing.

Yes, Charleen. The ones that I left in the ground heavily muclched are putting out leaves. My name tags have disappeared, so I don't know what's what. It's good to hear from you.

but I have pictures of Brugs that I have just put into ground. These still have their pots...
I know about name tags disappearing, I have several like that too.
Aggravating. I notice one i had written her name on her so that was good. Want to plant some more tomorrow.

Monster is in ground now for 3 years and it comes back very good. Such a tough Monster. I love it. It is a white brug.
I have a Shredded white but it has yet to bloom. Maybe this year....
The ones in first picture have soil lifted up around pots, rocks to keep it in and then I added mulch to keep them cool and hopefully moist and happy....
