So many Aroid leaves look alike but to my eyes, it doesn't look quite right for Spade-Leaf Philodendron (Philodendron hastatum) which is also commonly called Silver Sword Philodendron. The leaves in your photo appear thicker than what I remember for P. hastatum. A variety of Anthurium may be another possibility.

The reason I say this is because on other aroid pages I belong to, all of the Australians say that almost all of the Anthurium and Philodendron there are hybrids...due to the fact that the laws against importation have been so strict for so many years. There are a few of Philos that it looks like on the surface. But I can;t say with any assurance that is a species, and not a hybrid of some sort

If you could EMAIL me a set of good photos @Anson38 I can share them with a group of folks I know who are very good at identifying plants. The photos need to come out full size so that I can transfer them to my photo program and attach them to emails. If interested in doing this, PM me and I will give you my email address
