We received about two inches of very wet snow, and everything was transformed.
We also got a very good rain which we needed badly, so this was a wonderful present.:smily:

A white Christmas indeed. nodding The storm has blown into Tennessee and it has been raining all night. Now it's supposed to get colder and turn to snow later today. I think they said anywhere from a dusting to a couple of inches. We'll see. I hope everyone is safe from tornadoes.

Glare It's getting colder here ... and very breezy. The thermometer is covered with snow so I can't see the temp but a lot of the snow is still melting when it hits the pavement and the ground. As the temp drops, that could change.

I need to go out to the bird feeders but I'm not looking forward to that. Blinking

Sorry Tee, I wanted to write soup but Shrug! . Trotters are the hoofs of cattle/sheep full of gooey, sticky, slimy fat which locals swear by that it removes joint pains. Maybe it adds to the fluids in the joints which decrease with age. In winters it warms up the body.
Regards,
Arif.

Very pretty, Josephine! Still, I'm glad we didn't get any snow or ice here. I always worry about people driving on the roads when something like that happens...including me. This winter seems awfully cold, and we're barely into January!

You are right Linda way too cold, I worry too about driving conditions ans accidents on the roads.
I haven't been able to get any work done outside on account of the cold, and i am missing it. Smiling
