35. Many have perennials so dont need too much in the way of coleus and other annuals, just to tuck in.

Those will make great container combinations, Joanne.

One that I am thinking of trying from seeds:
Agrostemma Ocean Pearls
Hibiscus acetosella
Hibiscus cannabinum

These three do not transplant well.

This year I am only doing petunias under lights.

Some containers will be sunflowers-I bought a grab bag of sunflower seed packets.

I have half the driveway covered in planters and also some scattered around the yard.
And then there are hanging planters for around the garage.
My total is probably over 50.
Some will be done with vegetable seeds and/or tomatoe plants.
The sunflower ones will be clustered into an arrangement of containers, some on stands.
Or that is the plan-it may change as time goes on!

On a packet of Sunflower seeds :

"for a sensational garden" combine these Lemon Sunflowers with Bright Lights Cosmos,
Tithonia Torch and Morning Glory Tricolor"

This was not necessarily a container recipe---but even in a bed?? The sunflowers grow 5 to 6 feet.
The Cosmos are about 12 inches to maybe 18 inches and I don't know how tall Tithonia grows as it does not grow for me.

Is there a shorter yellow Sunflower variety? It seems there would be a gap between the Tithonia and the Sunflowers?
I have seeds for a shorter Orange Sunflower which might work, but I think I'd like to use a yellow.

I would use a short yellow sunflower, the Bright Lights Cosmos, Amaranthus Autumn Palette and a deep blue morning glory.
This would be in a large container. Any ideas???
