Wow I just love all the daylilies. I do agee that SD is gorgeous. I was thinking of adding Annabells blush to my moms order. It is BOGO and I think it would be neautiful next to my Peppermint Twist phlox. Just concerned abput height issues. It said Annabells bush scape height is 30" and the phlox is only suppose to be 16".

Annabell's Blush sure is a beautiful flower, when does Peppermint Twist bloom? Only the scape is 30" and it does not bloom a whole lot but when it does it is beautiful, mainly in spring. I got the BOGO also so I have one in the front and one in the back. Here are some more BOGO's that I have. These are all good bloomers.

The peppermint phlox are blooming right now. I suppose that wouldnt work then afterall because they would be blooming at the wrong time. I really like Tropical Nights. Very pretty! It reminds me somewhat of the Bluegrass Memories I got. I dont remember seeing it unless it is an EV. I dont pay alot of attention to Evergreens because I live so far up north I dont know how they will survive.

So you would need something that blooms about now that is not evergreen and not too tall but on the pinkish side.?

For what it's worth Brandi, your bloom season in a zone 3 garden is likely later than zone 8. My fans of ANABELLE'S BLUSH are just winding down on blooming and I'm zone 5. My scapes were also well below 30 inches.
JJWC I guess I didnt think about bloom difference in different time zones. We are most definately later tha most on here. My moms regular lilies just started blooming.
Thanks for the help and advice and all the beautiful pictures

I traded mine, I admit I was a bit worried. But in zone3 you should not have to worry. Enjoy your flower!

I am sure mine were below 30 inches too, I thought it might need to settle in. How long has yours been settling?
