Got these beans from a friend. She just called them the "mystery beans". Pics of the young plant were taken about 5 weeks ago...no clue what it looks like now.

Ginger, no idea what beans those are.

I likely will, Calin. The young plant was started by a friend of the person I got the seeds from. No idea if it's still alive.

The "Magic Bean" is a large, pink to reddish colored bean of the species Canavalia gladiata, also known as the Swordbean.

Young leaves seem to match .. mature ones look different.

The beans sure do look the same...minus the words on mine I will have to call my friend and ask where she got them....and direct her here to check out the links you provided. Thanks Janet
