I was wondering if anyone grows this plant. I'm thinking about getting one next year, and I wanted to know how fast it multiplies.

This one, johnsonii,is supposed to form large clumps quickly.Mine hasn't done that and only has one or two small offsets after two years.I grow mine in a pot so maybe those grown outside would do better.

Thanks JT. I have some heirloom hybrid vittatum amaryllis. I started out with 3 and now I have 7, but I've only had them for 2 years. I'm trying to get the mature vittatum bulbs to bloom again because I haven't seen blooms since 2010.
