Does anyone know when it will become available? Confused

I emailed Ken Gregory in either Nov. or Dec., but didn't get any response.

I just emailed him again, tonight.

Thanks bunches!

A lot of people have tried to get in touch with Ken and nobody has been able to that I am aware of. Everyone is assuming that there will not be one.

I have my old ones in pile ready to throw out. I just never can let them go tho, I like to just look at the pictures sometimes, also, they have some older ones listed that I dont find on the AHS website. Thing is, you dont need to buy a new one to see the old plants, and I never found the prices helpful. With the internet and LA, they just seem to be obsolete. I loved them 'back in the day', before daves, ATP, LA etc., tho.

I too sent an e-mail regarding the new Eureka guide for 2013 in Nov. and never got a reply. Heck, now I'd settle for one from 2012........Maryl

I liked to use mine to see what sellers have a plant -- if no one in the north had a certain southern plant - then I would skip it till I could order from someone up north. I really enjoyed Eureka. I still have a few. I sent years worth of old ones to a daylily club one time, for their reference library.

Ir is regrettable that Ken has not made a public announcement to his customers. In early September I emailed Ken after a number of people had written me concerned that the website hadn't been updated. He responded around Sept. 24th and wondered if Eureka had run its course in 22 years or if he should consider publishing a late version out in February. I did not think it was my place to suggest a course of action to him, but did suggest that whatever he decided, it would be the right thing to do to make some sort of public announcement, either on his website or the daylily robin, or both, informing his customers about his decision. He assured me he was going to do that soon, but unfortunately, he has still not followed through, as people still are wondering what is going on.

As a photographer and buyer of Eureka for many years, I will certainly miss looking through it and auctions won't be the same without hearing auctioneers say, "and the average Eureka value is..."

I still hope that Ken will make a public announcement for the sake of all his past customers. This also might clear the way for anyone else who is interested in coming up with some sort of alternative publication, either hard copy or online.
