I guess the foliage stays low, but sends out tall stems for the blooms.
It also looks like you can cut back the bloom stems when finished blooming, and maybe they will root for new plants?

I have a few new tall sedums coming in the spring. The desert series, Oh jeepers, I cleaned up for christmas and can't find a think now. I'll look for the order.

Just looked up the Desert Series. Wow, that Desert Black is gorgeous. Love the Desert Red also. Really like that they are not very tall.
