Yippee!! My Christmas Cactus bloomed finally, about a month late, but what a beautiful bloom!!. If I remember to water it there might be more blooms, right?

Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Mat.6:28-29

I have a couple of varieties of these, Bidens, that are currently blooming, in fact, have been in bloom all year, even through the winter. Cheerful yellow blooms when nothing else is blooming, now that's a valuable plant!

They make a nice small spreader plant on the borders of the beds.

You can see it here at the base of my Salvia canariensis taken in July.

Its like March here today and I keep expecting tulip tips and daffodils not to mention emerging hostas.

Warm here too, for today and tomorrow, but then we're back to cold weather. I don't think we'll be seeing much blooming for a while. I bought and potted up an April Dawn Camellia last year. It has buds on it but the leaves are beginning to look very slightly withered. I hope it's ok and will bloom in April.
